I didn’t start Youtemp because I wanted to launch a tech company. I started it because I’d spent years inside a temporary recruitment business, dealing with the same operational pressures every day. Filling shifts at scale. Keeping on top of compliance. Managing timesheets, payroll, invoicing, and client expectations, all while relying on systems that were never quite designed for how the industry actually works. Building our own ERP wasn’t about innovation for its own sake. It was a necessity. We needed something that matched real workflows, not theory. Over time, that system became the backbone of the business and a genuine advantage for our clients. When I stepped away from the business, it was clear that the problems we’d solved internally weren’t unique. Agencies across the industry were facing the same challenges, often with even less support from their tools. Youtemp is my attempt to take what worked in the real world and make it available to the industry as a whole. We’re building it carefully, with a focus on practical outcomes rather than hype. That’s why we’re starting with early access and listening closely to the people who will use the platform every day.
